Nozzle protectors

To protect the surface to be cleaned from bumps and scratches, various nozzle protectors are also available. For example, we have rubber nozzle protectors to prevent damage to vehicles.

Use the nozzle table

We have created a handy table for choosing the right nozzle for your high-pressure installation. By looking at the working pressure (bar) you work with in combination with the water yield (litres per minute), you can use this table to see which nozzle diameter and type you should choose. By using the right nozzle, you make use of the optimal capacity of the cleaning machine and guarantee correct operation.

Important when choosing the right nozzle

The nozzles are essential for the optimal functioning of the high-pressure pumping system. All energy is bundled by this one component. Important factors when choosing the right nozzle include the spray angle and passage of the nozzle.

Spray angle of nozzle

The spray angle of the nozzle ultimately determines the theoretical coverage of the spray jet. We have nozzles in the range with the following spray angles:

  • 0° round jet nozzle
  • 15° flat jet nozzle
  • 25° flat jet nozzle
  • 40° flat jet nozzle
  • 65° flat jet nozzle

The larger the spray angle, the larger the spray width of the spray jet. A smaller spray angle generally has stronger cleaning power but you can clean a smaller area at a time. With a larger spray angle, you can generally clean faster but the cleaning power is lower.

Particle passage of the nozzle

The passage of the nozzle in combination with the capacity of the pressure washer and the spray angle of the nozzle ultimately determines the cleaning capacity. The passage of a nozzle, also called nozzle type, is the water passage at 20 bar. Thus, a nozzle type 02 has a water passage of 2 litres per minute at a working pressure of 20 bar.

The high-pressure nozzle is the most important part of the pressure washer. Slight wear in the nozzle has an immediate effect on the cleaning power and the desired capacity of the system.
